Working with an accredited Exercise Physiologist at Fundamentals offers a clear advantage over traditional Personal Training. With degree-level qualifications and a deep understanding of biomechanics, exercise science, and the body’s adaptive response to training, we deliver safe, effective strength and conditioning strategies that maximise results—while minimising risk of injury.

Personalised care tailored to you.

Every session we deliver is designed around your unique goals, current physical function, and fitness level. Your journey begins with a thorough understanding of your needs, challenges, and what success looks like for you—so we can create a treatment plan that’s both effective and sustainable.

  • Your journey starts here.

    Background & Health History
We begin with a detailed conversation about your current concerns, medical history, lifestyle, previous injuries, and personal goals. This helps us understand your unique background and what you want to achieve.

    Movement Assessment
Next, we perform a comprehensive whole-body screening—evaluating range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance, posture, gait, and any relevant measurements. This allows us to identify areas needing support or improvement.

    Your Personalised Plan
Based on your assessment, we’ll create a tailored exercise program designed to help you reach your goals safely and effectively—whether that’s recovery, long-term health management, or performance.

  • Personalised sessions designed for your progress.

No two bodies are the same—and your exercise sessions shouldn’t be either. Our one-on-one clinical exercise sessions are tailored specifically to your goals, current fitness level, and rehabilitation needs.

    Each session focuses on:

    • Teaching and refining correct exercise technique

    • Ensuring safe, effective movement patterns

    • Gradually progressing intensity as your ability improves

    • Empowering you to build confidence and independence over time

Whether you're recovering from an injury or aiming for overall health improvement, we can target specific areas or full-body systems to address pain, build strength, improve flexibility, balance, aerobic fitness, or weight-bearing tolerance.

Session durations: 30 or 45 minutes – depending on your needs.

  • Train independently—with expert guidance every step of the way.

Ready to take ownership of your training while still receiving professional support? Our online training option is perfect for those transitioning to independent exercise or working toward specific goals—whether that’s rebuilding the basics or preparing for competition.

This isn’t your standard “set and forget” online coaching. Your personalised program is developed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and regularly reviewed to ensure you're progressing safely and effectively. Check-ins allow for tailored modifications—whether progressing, regressing, or refining technique.

Programs are delivered via the Trainerize app, making it easy to access your workouts, track progress, and share feedback with your EP. All data, notes, and updates are shared in real-time to ensure your plan evolves with your performance.

You’ll also receive ongoing support and guidance, with optional in-person check-ins to keep your technique sharp and your goals on track.
